Dustin is pretending to play a racing game on t.v. and Kamden is pretending to play a horse racing game on Dustin.
February 26Skylar and I were celebrating the upcoming event of Dr. Suess' Birthday by making hats. Reading is one of Skylar's FAVORITE activities and I do like some Green Eggs and Ham myself. Dustin thought it was cute to put the hat on while he brushed his teeth. Little did he know I was going to surprise him with a camera in his face. Silly child, you should have known that was coming.

It's raining, it's poring...
that means some happy kids who get to use those umbrellas that they long to use.

Kamden was getting ready for some quiet time near Skylar and the daycare girls. When he hears it is quiet time he says, "Map, map." Then he zooms off calling out the names of the items he is going to get out of his room. "Lala, Elmo."

Tuesdays are BUSY around here. Dustin, having to follow guidelines, had to be home for 24 hours on an antibiotic before returning to school from having strep throat. Since he had no symptoms for over 48 hours now, I brought him along for the day. He even said, "Moms are busy." This was his interpretation of my day. In such a scramble for the day, I did not take a picture until it came to a slow-down. Kamden did not get a nap for the day and this is one horse whose wheels were falling off. It took all he had to prop those eyes open to get his bubble treatment.
The kids were even thankful to have some down time to read a book.

Opps, I got caught taking a Sunday nap. The boys came right up and snuggled me. I was multi-tasking, the phone is hiding under that hand on the pillow.
I kept Dustin home today to bring him to the doctor, more out of curiosity than anything else. Afterall, his symptoms were gone. But he was feeling fine so we spent some time outside. Bet you can't guess what he wanted to play. With grass patches peeking up from the snow...must be just about baseball time, right?
He has recruited another Garrison. And here is another one that is willing to play as often as you are willing to throw him the ball.

Who said taking 3 kids to a doctor's appointment was not fun? They look like they are just fine. The laughter coming from the room probably implied that there was not a sick one in the bunch.

Kamden has moved up to a big boy chair. With limited space in our kitchen, we held off on this until we felt it was due time. Now it is fun to see who will get to sit next to him at each meal.

"He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy."
