February 6

Three tries later, we were able to settle down on a date for Deb to watch the three kids. She had told us she was ready to try it and was excited to have the kids overnight. This would be Kamden's first time overnight with Grandma and Grandpa so we were praying that he would cooperate. He is still not a guarantee for sleeping through the night. That is not to say that we cater to his cries by giving him things in the middle of the night but that he cries in his sleep and we go in, rub his back and back to sleep he goes. But that is a little overwhelming for those that are accustomed to a full night's sleep. (We are way past that expectation in our house. Ha.)

The three days leading up to the sleepover Kamden was up with agonizing screaming. So I took him and Skylar to the doctor on Saturday of the sleepover to find out that there were 3 infected ears among them. And to top it off, Kamden's asthma was really kicking in due to the cold and infections. So we thought it best to keep that stress out of the hands of grandma. She was appreciative but still willing to watch him for us to go out to dinner and some play time.

Let me say, I had higher expectations for my score. Afterall, I can bowl a 173 on the Wii. I will also add that due to our night out, I also broke my workout streak. I had worked out 16 straight workouts, working 4 times a week. As the t.v. shows on this Saturday, marked by the red 'x', I had "1 missed workout". But I did work out bowling and had a lot of fun. I had to work off the brownie dessert Adam and I shared while out to eat at Chili's. It is nice to get some time together for just the two of us.
