“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Many times we walk through life wishing we had more or different. I know there is value in seeing the small things and appreciating them; thanking God for them.

My three beautiful children. In reality, no more words are needed but they are chosen. Kamden, he motivates me to try to keep going even when I miss him so much during this chapter of his life. He is growing in ways he doesn’t even know yet. Skylar, she is tough on the outside but is clear headed when she offers a listening ear. She cares so much more than she shows. Dustin, a solid rock of help and reliability. A soft-spoken but clear thinker who is always available for family. These three are what I keep moving forward for.

A Christian friend who understands a mother’s broken heart while her son is away. She understands not out of empathy but out of shared experience. A fall walk just to share our faith and proud momma moments. Thank you, Lori.

Time spent with mom just having a nice meal and consignment shopping. I Know these moments will be ever so precious and am thankful to have them now. I’m thankful I am aware enough to value the little moments.

Hospital visit again for Sky. Thankful for the guy who sat beside her, was willing to clean her vomit off her face, and was attentive to her needs. Thank you, Jake.
