My mom came down from NH to celebrate my real birthday with me. We did not have anything fancy planned just some hanging out at my house. Oh, how I enjoy those times with her. Just hanging out over a cup of coffee and hot chocolate and talking. Kamden shares well and is good company. She even took some shots of me and my little bear. Then Kamden wanted to see the pictures in the camera and my mom wanted to take a picture of us looking at the camera but well... can't really do that while we are looking at it. But I am so thankful for any pictures I get of me with my children. Thanks Momma.
So I decided to get with the program and get some pictures for Christmas cards. With three children you almost have to do a picture card for those family members that do not get to see the changes in these guys often. So literally a week before I decide to try to snap some pics. It is both rewarding and funny to hear my mother-in-law say that we always get such a nice shot of the three of them. It is for that very reason I am thankful for digital cameras. The shots that come before the final are humerous.
I even decided to try to get some of the third child on his own, since we did not do the Walmart, every 6 months, with him pictures.
Dustin is like his momma in yet another way. Uh, oh. I realized that Adam and I had matching colors on and I really liked Adam in his suit shirt and tie so Dustin was in charge again of a mommy and daddy shot. Nice one, bug.
Skylar had her school party and I am so fortunate to be able to go to each child's school gatherings. They had their elf hats and sang carols. Skylar was so proud to be able to show off her little brother. The other little girls serinated him with their carols.

Dustin has his "party" and daddy was able to go to this one. Though I did not snap a picture in this quiet party, we did go for the reading of the Christmas tree that never ended. I stumbled upon Dustin's elf hat from when he was in Mrs. Lusa's pre-k. He pranced around the house with it for awhile. Then became serious for his picture. Mrs. Lusa even had a hat for Kamden.
Now all the Garrison's have elf hats for Mrs. Lusa. Though my style queen did not want to be caught in hers because her famous words..."It looks crazy, mommy."
Ah...deep breath. Busy, but fun time. I'm thankful Christmas comes but once a year! Such special family time...doesn't get better.
