I used to say kids were not allowed to play with guns. And I am still slightly uncomfortable with the idea. So we avoid calling things guns just to avoid any confusion between toys and the real thing. For Christmas Dustin got this dart tag. He thoroughly enjoys targeting daddy. Like his big brother, Kamden has taken a liking to the reaction that comes when he shots daddy, or mommy, or the ceiling fan.
He can load the "binger" (the name it has taken on due to the sound that it makes or a parent makes as it goes 'bing'). He does, however, need help to get the second part. But once you have done that, watch out because he can pull that release all by himself. I will admit that it is not just the kids that have enjoyed a round of tag. I was informed by Skylar the other night that she could not sleep because of the noise. She came out and caught Adam and I chasing eachother around the house 'binging' eachother.
