"Seeing each blessing and holding them near."

January 1, 2010

The new year is here and this is the time of year that I like to recommit myself to starting those things that I have been pondering or dreading the start of. One of those things is the normal, 'now is as good a time as any to lose some baby weight' commitments. Yeah, yeah, I know... baby weight, huh, more like "I should not have eatten that" weight. I am working on ironing out the wrinkles of when is a good time to fit that into the schedule. I have tried the early morning thing and Kamden seems to have figured that out. He now gets up 15 minutes before my early awakening. So now I am moving onto a plan of how to work in some exercising with the family, something fun.

My other recommitment is to start my blogging at the start of 2010. I enjoy so much, the idea of journaling the little things that my children do. It all seems to go so fast and I am so sadened to think that I will not remember the little moments. I am always with camera in hand capturing those silly moments. I have found blogging to be one of those places of easy and fun documentation of such moments for me and my children as they get older. So for 2010 I am committing to try to take a picture a day and post in the same manner.

With the help of the Lord I am striving to get our household to live and work in harmony with eachother. Don't get me wrong, I know there are to be disagreements when there is more than one person present, but I pray for loving kindness within these walls. As this year goes on I will keep you posted on the fun and progressive learning that goes on. So check in on the Garrisons throughout the year as we are Daily Under Construction.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. "
