Whoo, 2011!

January 1st.....
Ok, so for January this year the topic is SNOW! That was all there was and it was in every conversation people had. But, if you know me well enough, you know I don't complain about snow. 1/13 I know, I am very fortunate to work from home and not have to drive in it. I did, however, have to shovel it from the driveway, the walk ways, the porch, the trampoline, the roof...yes, I did say roof. 1/29 There was so much snow, this year, that roofs were collapsing and ice dams were building. So seeings Adam had sprained his ankle and was medically ordered off ladders, I was elected, by default. 1/13 Everyone pitched in. While I was on the roof shoveling an easily estimated, 3 feet of snow, Dustin held down the fort. He prepared lunch and put the kids down for a nap. I communicated with him via cell phone up on the roof. I was delighted to see that he had voluntarily folded the clean laundry that had been sitting on the couch awaiting my schedule to clear up.

"He says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth,' and to the rain shower, 'Be a might downpour.' So that everyone he has made may see his work..." Job 37:6,7
