One of my favorite times of year...and one of my favorite reasons for it... leaves, leaves, leaves.
Whether on the ground, in the trees, or just plain piled with kids. I think fall is beautiful. Thank you, Lord for the change in seasons. 11/12
We stopped at a local school on the way to visiting a few friends playing football. I just sit back and soak it all in, that this little girl is getting so big. The denial is quickly headed up against picking out her own clothes, desiring for her hair to be worn a certain way on a given day. This day it was a straighten it day. The accomplishments of what she can do on a gymnastics floor, yes, even that comes to mind since she had no problem doing a back bend over the outdoor balance beam in this dress. Silly girl. 11/14
With multiple families, and some living miles apart, my mom decided years ago that she would host Thanksgiving dinner the week before the rest of the world. It works well for us so that we don't have to choose which side of the family will get you which year. (And since there are 3 sides, it would make it even more challenging to not offend or skip someone.) So Brandi and I bring our families up to Nana and Papa's. It is fun, laid back times with plenty of laughs. Here are all 5 of the grandkids together. 11/21

Freezing cold or not someone always makes a trip down to the stream. Dustin was happier to be sitting on this log that crossed the stream rather than walking it.
This year we were at Deb and Rob's for Thanksgiving dinner. What a beautiful job she does, from table settings to homemade bird feeders, she always puts so much thought into our gatherings. The kids always enjoy time with cousins and once in awhile they even stop to see us adults for a minute. 11/25
Sometimes it seems to take forever (for the kids) to get to the time of day that we are asked to arrive. So before dinner the boys decide to turn into undie monsters and tickle Skylar. Hey, tickling makes the time go faster, right? 11/25
This was a very sad day in my books...I am sure the picture speaks for itself. That crib had been set up for over 7 years and 7 months straight. 11/26
