I had such a hard time picking my favorite picture of Kamden having fun with the family and the balloons. I have been trying to teach myself how to edit pictures and play around with some of the special effects in Picasa. Here are some of the ones I have altered. I am not sure how I like some of the changes so for those faithful readers, let me know your thoughts.
I am a fan of b&w with a little color left (or added, as the case may be) for accent or drama or effect. This one has too much color in it still (like the denim), which takes away from what you are trying to draw attention to.
