So I seem to only be blogging when I am sending in an entry for I Heart Faces. And lately I have even missed those. I miss counting my blessings and letting my followers in on what the Garrison's are up to. So today is a catch up day. This pic was taken, but never entered in the "We Love Tooshies" contest. Imaginge the fun that a 6 year old boy has when you are trying to take a picture of his behind. The laughs that come from that set up.

This is what our picture taking event turned into.

A picture I really like of Skylar. She is getting so big and what a beautiful little girl. Boy are we going to be in trouble. I wanted to capture the side, ponytail that Auntie Brandi was so famous for. You are working it, girl.

It is so nice to see the kids do things together. From time to time, we put yoga on "YouTube" for Kamden to settle down with. He really likes the "SunDance." This time they all got into it. They start with the downward dog.

Here they are snaking along the floor to get ready for cobra pose.

For my own reminders, I need to see that though these moments are few and far between for these two, these moments do occassionally happen. They are both smiling at the same time, and playing with eachother.

On November 17 Ashford School put on their second "Pajamboree." The kids (and mommy) get to dress in their pajamas and go to school. Here they have a sing-a-long. Kamden and Skylar really like this night. Dustin is opposed to going to school in his jammies, whereas Skylar thinks it is the best to show off her princess jammies to all her friends that also faithfully have attended. So I piled the kids into daddy's truck and off we went. (My van needed repair. Amazing how much you forget to appreciate your own vehicle until you are without. These days, I am getting more and more reminders to be thankful for it when I have it. Thank you, Adam for fixing my brakes 12/8.)
Yay...thanks for the update! I could also just pick up the phone and say, "Hey Andrea, what's new with you?" but...well, I like this method, too. The "behind" picture was great! It looks so pretty where your mom is...maybe just a little closer to God up there. :)
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas tree looks beautiful...good to have that checked off the list!
Thanks for filling us in!
